Music has always been my language for things too deep for words.
The Sonrise A New Tomorrow album didn't start in a recording studio. It started in a season of personal challenge — a time when I needed to hear hope more than I needed to speak it. So I wrote it. Nine original songs, each one a declaration that the sun rises again after the darkest night.
The Awards I never set out to win awards. I set out to write songs that were true. But the music community responded in ways that humbled me deeply. The 2007 Hollywood Music Awards named me Worship Artist of the Year. The Akademia Awards recognized the album twice — in 2018 and again in 2019, when I received the Executive Award for Singer/Songwriter. These weren't just trophies. They were confirmation that the message was landing.
The Radio Play One of the most surreal experiences of my life was hearing my music played on radio stations I'd never contacted, in cities I'd never visited. That's the power of a song with a true message — it travels on its own.
The Songbook Because so many people asked for the chords and lyrics, I published the official Sonrise Songbook — complete with chord charts, lyrics, and the stories behind each song. It's available on Amazon for anyone who wants to play these songs in their own home, church, or community.
Music is a gift. I'm grateful every day that I get to share it.
